Introducing IDCheck: Shared Branch is now easier and more secure than ever!

With account takeover fraud on the rise, the Co-op Shared Branch Network has added new ID-proofing security when you access your account at a Shared Branch location.

Starting May 1, 2025, this new fraud prevention measure will allow for making certain it is you trying to access your account and not an imposter.

When you bank at a Shared Branch location, a representative can now identify and authenticate members with out-of-state IDs in the branch through a QR code and one-time passcode multi-factor authentication verification.

This additional layer of authentication will be used for loan payments, cashier’s checks, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and account inquiries.
