Blaze Vice President Enterprise Risk Management, Cassandra Sandstrom was recently appointed to the Association of Credit Union Audit and Risk Professionals (ACUARP) Risk Committee.
In her role with the Risk Committee, Sandstrom will actively work with members of ACUARP to provide education, resources and support in the areas of Risk Management and Compliance while also offering some assistance in the area of Internal Audits. She will also be actively connecting members to ACUARP to facilitate the exchange of ideas and provide support and guidance.
“I am honored and excited to be a part of ACUARP’s Risk Committee,” said Sandstrom. “I look forward to sharing my experiences and my knowledge with the other ACUARP members and to help our risk management and compliance professionals navigate their organizations through the issues and the legalities of our industry.”
Sandstrom has been a member of ACUARP for over two years and obtained her CCURM certification (Certified Credit Union Risk Management), through ACUARP.
The Risk Committee is also responsible for planning, scheduling and hosting of Risk Management meetings for ACUARP members throughout the United States. In Sandstrom’s role she will be involved in planning, organizing, presenting and working with the ACUARP Risk Management Committee to spearhead these tasks.
