What types of organizations can request a donation from Blaze?

Blaze is proud to support Minnesota nonprofit organizations through financial and in-kind donations and volunteer support. In 2025, more than 420 nonprofits received support (financial, in-kind, or volunteer) from Blaze.

Organizations requesting support should have a mission that falls within at least one of Blaze’s six giving pillars and should be serving the people of Minnesota.

Blaze is unable to provide monetary donations to individuals or for-profit organizations. 

Blaze is also unable to provide monetary donations to school extracurricular activities like sports, clubs, and booster programs; post-prom or post-grad parties; individual youth or amateur athletics teams; and school carnivals or galas. However we would be happy to provide in-kind donations to these events and organizations that can be used in auctions, raffles, or prize giveaways.
