Blaze Credit Union (“Blaze”) permits media access to its member meetings and events, subject to reasonable safeguards to ensure the privacy, security and orderly conduct of these events. This Media Access and Recordings Policy applies to all journalists, reporters, photographers, videographers and representatives of any print, broadcast or digital media outlet (“Media” or “Media Representatives”).

All Media Representatives must register with Blaze at least 48 hours in advance of any member meeting or event they wish to attend. Registration must be completed by contacting marketing@blazecu.com and receiving written approval prior to attendance. Blaze may request verification of media affiliation or credentials as part of the registration process. Media representatives who do not register and receive advance approval may be denied access to the event or be permitted to attend with restrictions on recording, interviews or use of equipment.

Blaze may establish designated areas for approved Media Representatives. Media must remain within the designated areas unless expressly permitted by Blaze representatives. Any recording, photography or use of recordings captured outside of such designated areas is unauthorized and may result in removal from the event, additional restrictions deemed appropriate by Blaze representatives or denial of approval to future events.

Blaze may limit the type or size of equipment permitted at the event if Blaze representatives determine such use may interfere with the event, member/attendee experience or safety. Media may not disturb, interrupt or interfere with the event or any Blaze representatives, members or other attendees.

By registering for media access to a Blaze event, Media agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Blaze, its officers, agents, contractors and representatives from and against any claims, damages liabilities, loses or expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to the Media Representative’s attendance at the event; the creation, publication or distribution of any recording; or violation of this policy or any applicable law.

Media Representatives acknowledge that they have been fully informed of this Media Access and Recording Policy prior to entering the event.
