Our Vision

To improve the quality of life of the communities we serve through education, scholarships, in-kind support, and volunteerism.

We impact families, servicemembers, veterans, schools, disaster relief efforts, and community initiatives.

Through the Blaze Foundation, we aim to empower communities to build and strengthen their financial lives.

Our History

Blaze, through Hiway, was an early contributor to Credit Unions for Kids. CU4Kids raises funds for Children's Miracle Network (CMN) affiliated hospitals and is the top Minnesota credit union contributor — raising more than $500,000 since 1997. Funds have been raised through associates paying to wear jeans on select days, summer cookouts, raffle tickets, and more.

Since the early 1990s, Blaze associates have organized various opportunities to help our community through donations and volunteering. Efforts include collecting school supplies, making and serving meals at Ronald McDonald House, collecting clothing for homeless youth shelters, and making care packages for troops overseas.

Blaze has supported financial literacy efforts in schools for more than a decade, delivering hundreds of presentations and reaching more than 4,000 students since 2016.
